A Montana Cabin Rental

This Montana cabin rental, found north of Yellowstone National Park, and secluded on ranch land facing the Absaroka Mountains, is the most private retreat in Montana "Big Sky Country" rentals. The log cabin is located on the ranch of Western artists John and Karen Garre, just 5 miles from historic Livingston, MT. The rental has a vaulted ceiling and hardwood floors, a small dining area and fully equipped kitchenette with electric stove, microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, silverware, and pots and pans for cooking. Other amenities include: modern bathroom with shower and linens, lounging area with couch and dresser, heater, and fireplace.

Various Montana original and print art work adorn the cabin walls (for more information go to the artists' gallery website .) There's no cable or phone in the cabin – remember this is your private, peaceful getaway - but if you feel the need for noise, a TV/VCR combo with some old classics are available for screening. Otherwise, sit out on the porch and enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains all around – unmatched in most other cabin rentals - and don't be surprised if you see antelope grazing out front, or eagles flying overhead.

Historic Livingston and Yellowstone Park

There's plenty to do during your stay at the cabin. The town of Livingston is 10 minutes away from the rental, offering dozens of restaurants, saloons, boutique shops, grocery markets and more. And if you're ready to take on Montana's wilderness - take a stroll in Sacajawea Park on the banks of the Yellowstone River, try your hand at fly-fishing, or drive through Paradise Valley to magnificent Yellowstone Park.

The word doesn't translate.

It is used in Spanish to designate that mysterious little area in the bullring that catches the fancy of the fighting bull when he charges in. He imagines it his sanctuary:when parked there, he supposes he cannot be hurt...
So it is, borrowing the term, that one can speak of one's "querencia"to mean that little, unspecified area in life's arena where one feels safe, serene.

William F. Buckley
Racing Through Paradise

Elegantly rustic and warmly hospitable, Querencia has five guest rooms with private entrances from spacious decks, each with magnificent views of theAbsaroka, Gallatin and Crazy Mountains. Three tiled bathrooms with showers are private or semi-private. Querencia features radiant floor heat with individual thermostats and Douglas Fir floors throughout. Beds are queen size or twin. We can accommodate a corporate retreat, wedding or family reunion.

As a Vacation Rental, the entire Lodge is available for $500 per Night (3 night minimum) or $3200 per week (7 days).

Please call so that we might best accommodate your needs.

A two night minimum with a deposit of one night's stay, and the balance upon arrival is required. Roll-away beds are available for an additional charge of $10 per night. Please add 4% Montana accommodation tax. We will refund your full deposit if cancellation is made at least two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival date.

Welcome To The Gibson -Cassidy

House Inn

The Gibson-Cassidy House is a newly renovated, historic, 1912, three-story house in the small, rural town of Clyde Park, in south central Montana.

Each room of the house has been beautifully furnished and decorated to create a gracious atmosphere of yesterday's charm with today's conveniences. The spacious rooms, the stained glass, open stairway, tastefully papered walls and handmade quilts lend themselves to the creation of each room being unique, but consistently homey and comfortable.

Many of the antique furnishings and decorative pieces have been created - provided by the local artists, as well as myself. These items are available for sale, not only to guests of the the Gibson-Cassidy House, but also to the public.

"I am proud and I am blessed to have the facilities to be able to share Montana and Montanan hospitality with you - I know you will be pleased."

Nancy
